Southwold Railway Trust Long-established group working to raise the profile of the 1879-1929 railway with the long-term goal of re-instatement. Their Steamworks site, open to the public on selected dates, is an ongoing project to share this enthusiasm. The railway operated between Halesworth and Southwold, with intermediate stations at Wenhaston, Blythburgh and Walberswick. See website for lots of information and membership details. The Association is a thriving community of over 700 beekeepers, with six branches throughout Suffolk. Can be seen and heard around the area at many different venues and are also a well respected concert band.
